At Emerging Frontiers in Translational Biomedicine and Health Sciences (EFTBHS), peer review is the cornerstone of scientific integrity. We invite qualified researchers, scholars, and clinicians to join our community of reviewers and help shape the quality and direction of cutting-edge biomedical and translational research published through our journal.
Open Roles

Eligibility and Expertise
- Advanced training or professional practice in biomedical, clinical, or population health sciences
- Demonstrated scholarship or practice leadership in a relevant specialty
- Familiarity with reporting guidelines such as CONSORT, PRISMA, STROBE, ARRIVE, or CARE
- Commitment to double-blind peer review, research integrity, and equity in publishing
- Ability to meet deadlines and communicate clearly with authors and reviewers
What You Will Do
- Screen submissions for fit and rigor, coordinate fair and timely reviews
- Guide authors toward actionable revisions that strengthen translational impact
- Uphold ethical policies on authorship, conflicts of interest, human and animal research
- Support inclusive practices and constructive feedback across disciplines
- Promote journal visibility in your networks and, where relevant, help shape special issues
Term and Workload
Standard appointments are for 1–2 years, renewable by mutual agreement. Workload varies by role and submission volume. We aim to keep first decisions within 3–6 weeks and use focused revision windows to respect author timelines.
