About the Journal

1. Overview

Emerging Frontiers in Translational Biomedicine and Health Sciences (EFTBHS) is an international, peer-reviewed, open-access journal dedicated to advancing the transformation of biomedical discoveries into tangible improvements in public and clinical health outcomes.
The journal serves as a platform for interdisciplinary research linking laboratory innovations, computational biology, and clinical applications with community and global health impact. Our guiding philosophy is to accelerate the translation of research findings from bench to bedside to achieve tangible community impact.

EFTBHS is published under the auspices of the Faculty of Allied Health Sciences, Delta State University, Abraka, Nigeria, and managed by an independent editorial board of experienced scholars, clinicians, and researchers. The journal welcomes submissions from scientists, health professionals, and policy experts worldwide.

2. Aims and Scope

EFTBHS publishes original research, reviews, short communications, perspectives, and policy analyses covering the broad spectrum of translational and biomedical sciences.
Core thematic areas include, but are not limited to:

  • Interdisciplinary and translational research

  • Systems biology and bioinformatics

  • Reproductive, maternal, neonatal, and child health (RMNCH)

  • Environmental and occupational health

  • Global health and infectious diseases

  • Artificial intelligence in health sciences

  • Biomedical imaging and diagnostics

  • Precision medicine and molecular pathophysiology

  • Regenerative medicine and tissue engineering

  • Novel therapeutics and drug development

  • Evidence-based reviews and meta-analyses shaping clinical practice

Each article is evaluated for methodological rigor, ethical compliance, and potential to bridge discovery with real-world healthcare application.

3. Editorial Structure and Governance

The journal is led by:
