Information For Librarians

We invite academic librarians, institutional repository managers, and information professionals to include Emerging Frontiers in Translational Biomedicine and Health Sciences (EFTBHS) in their library’s electronic journal holdings, databases, and discovery systems.

EFTBHS is an open-access, peer-reviewed scholarly journal dedicated to advancing translational biomedical research and health sciences through evidence-based publication and global knowledge dissemination. By archiving or linking to our content, libraries contribute to the visibility and accessibility of research from both established and emerging scientists, particularly within Africa’s growing academic community.

Librarians may freely catalogue and distribute the journal’s metadata, article links, and issues in institutional or subject-based repositories. The journal’s content is indexed and preserved under the Open Archives Initiative Protocol for Metadata Harvesting (OAI-PMH), ensuring compatibility with library systems and long-term accessibility. Libraries are also encouraged to register EFTBHS in their electronic resource directories and academic databases to strengthen access for faculty, researchers, and students.

EFTBHS fully supports the Budapest Open Access Initiative (BOAI) and encourages library participation in open-access promotion, faculty outreach, and knowledge sharing. Librarians are welcome to assist faculty members in becoming authors, reviewers, or editorial contributors to the journal.

Because the journal provides immediate open access to all published articles, libraries may use EFTBHS content for research, teaching, and institutional reference without restriction, provided proper citation of the original source is maintained.

We also encourage librarians to integrate the journal’s resources into institutional repositories and reading lists to foster learning, collaboration, and innovation across health science disciplines.
